Who We Are

Maggie Barton
Co- Founder & Yoga Teacher
Maggie's yoga practice and teachings rest on a foundation of self love, gratitude, and compassion. Maggie believes that movement should feel joyful, freeing, and fun. She brings a down-to-earth approach to the mat, encouraging a practice that meets you exactly where you are. A creative at heart, Maggie enjoys design, weightlifting, and getting lost in a good book on her Kindle—all while chasing around her four young children. She says she finds the deep breath of life in all the chaos.
Caroline Streater
Co-Founder & Strategic Lead
Caroline is the original visionary behind Studio Well. After moving to Cheraw to join her husband Cambo in 2021, Caroline felt a strong desire to create a welcoming space where friends can practice yoga and experience other practices focusing on strength and wellness. As a trial attorney, mediator, mom, and grandmother she appreciates moments of calm reflection.

Kate Thomas
Co-Founder & Power Mat Instructor
Kate has always found joy in movement. Her journey into fitness instruction began with indoor cycling, where she first discovered her love for leading and motivating others. Whether guiding a dynamic Power Mat or Mat Fusion class, she brings a passion for strength, balance, and mindful movement to every workout. For Kate, movement isn’t just about fitness—it’s a way to feel grounded, strong, and empowered. When she’s not on the mat, you can find her soaking up time with her husband, their baby, and her rescue pup, Enzo. These days, her life is full in the best way, and that same energy carries into every class she teaches.
Kimberly Rose
Yoga Teacher
Kimberly Rose is a Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher, and Women’s Circle Facilitator. Kimberly has been an attuned Reiki practitioner since 2018. She completed her 200 Hour YTT with Our Sacred Space Yoga School in Hartsville, SC in 2020. She received training from Her Sacred Circle Facilitator Program in 2022 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Additionally, she has also completed specialized training in Yin Yoga through Authentic Yoga Teacher Training of Scottsdale, AZ.

Temple Dyson
Classic Core Instructor
Temple discovered her love for movement later in life, proving it’s never too late to begin. After 15 years of on-and-off exercise, a season of empty nesting led her to reconnect with herself through yoga and strength training.
Her journey took a meaningful turn with the opening of Studio Well, where she was introduced to Pilates—and quickly found her rhythm in its intentional, full-body approach. Temple is now certified in Classical Pilates through the Pilates Instructor Academy (Level 1) and is currently continuing her studies with Level 2. She brings that classical foundation into her teaching, leading Classic Core—a focused, strength-driven class rooted in traditional Pilates with a modern, energizing edge.
Temple has been married to her husband, Joel, for 32 years. They’ve called Cheraw home for 28 years, where they raised their four children: Jonah (and his wife, Gabby), Wesley (and his wife, Rebekah), Bradford, and Kirby.

Denise Jones
Mat Pilates Instructor + Yoga Teacher
Denise Jones lives in Bennettsville with her husband, Joseph. They have been married
for 26 years and have three sons, Walker, Thomas, and Dalton. She began teaching at
Marlboro Academy in 2001 and is looking forward to another year of teaching Spanish
when the school year begins in August.
Denise began her fitness journey around 12
years ago and enjoys yoga, Pilates, weight-lifting and HIIT classes. She recently
completed her Level 1 Teacher Training with YogaFit.

Mary-Audrey
Yoga Teacher
Mary-Audrey found her passion for yoga during a period of uncertainty while navigating medical challenges. Through gentle movement and mindful breath, she experienced the healing and transformative power of conscious movement on the body, mind, and soul. Mary-Audrey completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through the American Yoga Academy and plans to continue her education. Her classes focus on mindful movement, nervous system support, and the belief that yoga is not one-size-fits-all.
Carly Douglas
Yoga Teacher

Carly fell in love with yoga during her time at USC, where she earned her degree in Public Health. Drawn to the balance of mental peace and physical strength the practice offers, she is currently completing her yoga teacher training through YogaRenew. Carly believes that caring for both body and mind is one of the most meaningful ways we can honor ourselves. When she's not teaching or on her mat, you'll find her reading a good mystery novel, soaking up the sun, or working part-time at the local Shed Restaurant.

Ximena Perez
Mat Fusion + Power Mat Instructor
Ximena’s approach to her class instruction is rooted in a passion for movement, balance, and overall well-being. With over three years of barre training and a PhD in Nutrition, she brings both expertise and experience to her classes, emphasizing health, strength, and sustainable wellness. Ximena believes movement should feel both empowering and restorative, creating space for each person to connect with their body in a way that feels supportive and joyful. Outside the studio, she enjoys exploring art and culture, soaking up time at the beach, and staying active in ways that nurture both mind and body.
